Classic 1950s Rock & Roll song from The 1956 film “Don’t Knock The Rock” which had a simple plot reminiscent of those simpler but somewhat suspicious times when Rock Music was frowned upon but the elder society. In the movie a DJ tries to prove that Rock & Roll wont corrupt the towns teenage population. A classic performance.

@bender1958 actually now that i think of it i just remembered paul doing long tall sally with the beatles and he did a great job at it too !

@bender1958 you are sort of right there pauls was a hofner bass but his main idol was chuck berry and buddy holly and gene Vincent but of course he loved little Richard

Notice that the bass guitar is similar to the one that has been used by Paul McCartney. Interesting when you consider that Little Richard was Sir Paul’s idol.
