Back in the 70’s and most of the 80’s, a good song was a good song, whatever the genre. I love the old songs of all genres-country, disco, rock, soul. We had a variety of excellent music in all genres back then.
We were so lucky to grow up with the music we had.
It is too bad the only songs linked to one’s memory from this generation with their respective relatives or friends driving down a peaceful road, would be all monotonous words spoken at a fast pace to uninspirational beats; and high pitched voices repeating the same phrase over and over while artificially tuned to mimic trained vocal chords.
This is my favorite Glen Campbell song. Glen is very sexy in his tight jeans while walking on the side of the street. Handsome guy indeed!
