I may get crucified for saying this, but in terms of mood, I have a tough time picking between Miles Davis and Chet Baker. Anybody else got that issue?
@wisewarriormuzic usually movies of Tom Cruise (Collateral, J. Maguire etc.) show jazz music of the old style, beepop-charlie parker things with fast tempo but this is completely different its cool, cool jazz
This kind of music I don’t usually get into, normally I like Rock and Metal.
But, for some reason this just seems like the background music to some film Noir scene in New York’s seedy underbelly, rainy, dark, cold.
I love how this genre can paint a picture in your head….maybe it’s the lack of words that does that, I’m not sure. Great inspiration for a visual artist (myself), for sure…
@wisewarriormuzic Dewd All that means is you had the taste to understand real stuff when it was spoken. i’m sure a lot of people didn’t like that that movie. That scene about that guy playing with miles davis was a cool story. I thank Tom cruise and Jamie foxx for YOUR conversion
