Often covered but never bettered (in our opinion) Robbie Williams “Angels” is by far his best known song to date. It is also and one of the most critically acclaimed in years, having been voted the best song of the past 25 years at the BRIT Awards.
Up until its release, his post “Take That” career had been far from stellar, and it looked like he would just become another ex member of a band making their way through music history. However the success of “Angels” was staggering and it propelled him back into the limelight and probably single handily made him the super star he is today.
It was the 4th single from his debut album, Life thru a Lens and to many peoples surprise it only reached Number 4 in the UK charts. There remains some dispute as to who actually wrote it, however that minor controversy aside it remains a hugely popular song and since its release in 1997 it has popped in and out of the singles charts thanks to the rise in popularity of music downloads.

Never heard of him before til I watched a Susan Boyle interview — he is freaking HOT!!! what a VOICE and his videos are phenominal. A well promoted tour in the US would make this guy mega hot worldwide – he also needs better promotions in the US for his music – 160 on Billboard just sucks for such a super hot talent.
