Meat Loaf’s Bat Out Of Hell is one of the most iconic albums of the seventies and certainly up there with the best of all time. First released in October 1977 it has gone on to sell in excess of 40 million copies worldwide and in the alone UK it has more than 3 million sales. Although it is great to listen to as a studio album, it is best appreciated as a live spectacle with the band buzzing energy and lead singer Meat Loaf dominating the stage. The video below is of the title song. It lasts a while but its worth it.
