Frankie Goes To Hollywood earned some early notoriety with songs such as “Relax” & “Two Tribes”, however this their third single is by far their most enduring song. It reached Number one in the UK in early December 1984 and had it not have been for the re release of Band Aid’s Do They Know Its Christmas. Although its not a particularly Christmassy song it seems to have earned this tag. Whatever it is a powerful Ballard with some great lyrics.
